Tamanna Sharmin

Junior Project Manager

Tamanna Sharmin is a Junior Project Manager with IISD’s Resilience Program. She has nearly a decade of experience in managing, coordinating, and providing administrative support to large-scale non-profit projects, working on sustainable development, climate change, and economic development. Tamanna brings extensive knowledge of program support, budgeting, stakeholder management, reporting, communications, and monitoring and evaluation to the position.

Prior to joining IISD, she worked as a group manager with the Swisscontact – Katalyst program, where she provided strategic and administrative support to a portfolio of 40+ programs and ensured appropriate quality implementation and monitoring.

Tamanna holds a master’s and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Dhaka as well as a diploma in Community Development Work from Centennial College (Toronto).
